Medication:Any prescribed medications following root canal treatment should be taken regularly.
Diet:For teeth that have temporary fillings until the permanent restoration (filling or crown) is completed, it is advisable to avoid hard foods on that tooth.
Oral Hygiene:The patient should brush their teeth at least three times a day and use dental floss or an interdental brush in areas where the toothbrush may not reach effectively.
Occlusal Sensitivity:Since the tooth that has undergone root canal treatment may be sensitive to biting forces for a period, it is recommended to use the opposite jaw for chewing during this time.
