How is Implant Treatment Applied?
The first stage of implant treatment is correct planning. In implant planning in our clinics, high-tech 3D imaging systems that show the bone structure in detail are used.
After planning, the implant is applied to the bone by a specialized maxillofacial surgeon. It takes approximately 2 months in the lower jaw and 3 months in the upper jaw for the implant to fuse with the jaw bone.
When the healing period is completed, the abutment piece that provides the connection between the implant and the planned prosthesis is placed and a crown, bridge or removable prosthesis compatible with the abutment piece is applied.
